Laura Ricketts

Laura Ricketts and her husband Christopher have been married since 2003. A mother of four children on earth and eight in Heaven, Laura has worn many hats in ministry over the years.

Currently the Coordinator of Marriage and Family Ministry at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, she is also a professional birth and loss doula trained in grief support. Laura has been involved in the prolife movement in various professional and volunteer capacities and is a recognized speaker on the topic of pregnancy loss, grief and healing, and marriage and family life.

Her husband is a Freedom Coach, using the Theology of the Body to bring healing and hope to those with an attraction and compulsion to pornography, with the goal of redeeming and reclaiming God’s vision for the human person. 

Chris and Laura are blessed to work side by side at their parish where Chris is also the Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. Laura, Chris, and their children enjoy kayaking, outdoor recreation, reading, and discovering the adventures that a life with Christ brings to family life!
